Meccha Chameleon

Meccha Chameleon is an online hide-and-seek game where camouflage is created by the players themselves. Each match separates players into Hiders and Seekers. The Hiders need to avoid being found until the timer runs out, while the Seekers must search the stage and identify every hidden player. The main difference from normal hide-and-seek is that Hiders can paint their own bodies to match the environment.

Turning the Body Into Camouflage

At the start of hiding, the player has a plain white body. To disappear into the stage, the Hider paints over it with colors and patterns that resemble nearby surfaces. A wall, floor, object, or background detail can become part of the disguise if the player chooses the right spot and pose. The hiding process is therefore not only about location, but also about visual imitation.

Finding What Does Not Fit

Meccha Chameleon does not use a story campaign or standard levels with scripted missions. Its structure is based on multiplayer rounds. Seekers move through the stage and inspect the environment for anything unusual. A Hider may be difficult to notice if their body color, pose, and position match the surroundings, but small mistakes can reveal them.

The game includes several core elements:

·         online hide-and-seek matches;

·         two roles, Hiders and Seekers;

·         body painting as a camouflage tool;

·         stage-based hiding and searching;

·         private and public server options;

·         recommended matches for 2 to 10 players.

Rooms, Friends, and Open Servers

Players can create servers and choose whether the room is private or open. Private rooms are useful for playing with friends, while public rooms allow other players to join freely. This structure also works for streamers, because viewers can take part in matches if the host creates an open server.

To play Meccha Chameleon, Hiders paint themselves, choose a place to blend in, and stay still or move carefully while avoiding attention. Seekers need to scan the environment, compare colors and shapes, and find every hidden player before time runs out. The game’s challenge comes from disguise, observation, patience, and how well each player understands the stage.
